As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Specialist in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in residential industries. This is a Part-Time Security Officer role where you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. You will join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, conducting routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remaining visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and delivering outstanding customer service. This driving post is ideal for someone who values teamwork, communicates with integrity, and brings a caring, reliable approach to supporting residents, guests, and property needs each day.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or supervisors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor and/or vehicle activity, following site procedures for entry, resident assistance, and reporting of suspicious behavior.
  • Support a professional presence at the location by interacting respectfully with residents and staff, answering routine questions, and reporting maintenance concerns or policy-related issues as appropriate.
