As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in Amarillo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting dynamic retail and utility locations. In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will work with agility, reliability, and integrity while putting people first and delivering through teamwork in a role that keeps each shift active and engaging.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floor areas, entrances, parking areas, utility-related spaces, and perimeter zones, while observing and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor access points, help to deter unauthorized entry, and support visitor, vendor, and/or employee movement in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Complete routine reports on patrol activity, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns, and assist with closing procedures, opening checks, and other assigned post duties as needed.
