At a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, assist customers and staff, and support day-to-day operations through clear communication and teamwork. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, retail location policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor customer and employee activity for unusual behavior, assist with access-related concerns, and support loss prevention awareness through visible presence and observation.
• Assist with closing and opening procedures, check doors and restricted areas, and communicate with store leadership regarding security-related issues, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
