You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology, media, or telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, assisting with badge checks, sign-in processes, and/or directional support when needed.
  • Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns, while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
