About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related observations according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
  • Monitor assigned areas for maintenance issues, access concerns, and/or policy violations, and report findings to the appropriate contact while supporting daily operations with professionalism.
  • Assist with badge checks, visitor directions, and/or entry screening as assigned, while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions across the post.
