Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access awareness, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in job state. Guided by a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will help to deter security-related incidents while acting with integrity every day.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies across the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries, following site protocols for screening, documentation, and/or credential verification.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and policy-related concerns in required reports, and communicate relevant updates during shift changes and with site management as needed.
