About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Downtown in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor entry procedures, badge verification, and/or reception area observations in support of established location protocols.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or maintenance or policy concerns, and relay important information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
