As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Credential Validation in Port Saint Lucie, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a residential location, you will manage visitor and badge access, monitor entry points, communicate with residents and guests, and help maintain a welcoming, security-related environment. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a CPO certification.
  • Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, issue credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, management, and public-service personnel while supporting a welcoming residential environment.
