You will manage entry points, verify access, greet residents and visitors, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle activity records.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support adherence to site policies.
  • Assist with directing visitors, vendors, and service personnel in accordance with residential community procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
