As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Badge Operations in Kissimmee, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail shopping destination, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, documenting incidents and communicating relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Assist with directing visitors, providing basic location information, and supporting a welcoming environment for shoppers and tenants.
