As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of a team that reflects Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution location, including business areas, access points, exterior grounds, and parking areas.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, assist with visitor management, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity to site leadership.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
