About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will also support access activity, deliver outstanding customer service, and bring our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every interaction.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology and communications location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, assisting with badge checks, directional support, and other security-related functions tied to daily operations.
  • Support ongoing site operations by maintaining a visible presence, reporting maintenance or property concerns, and following post orders related to after-hours activity, deliveries, and/or restricted areas.
