About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Concierge Services in FAIRFAX, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify potential issues or concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, observe utility infrastructure and/or restricted areas, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Complete required logs, reports, and/or incident documentation related to patrol activities, visitor interactions, and observed conditions during each shift.
