Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor processing, badge verification, and/or delivery coordination in alignment with site protocols for a professional business environment.
Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity, while helping to maintain an orderly atmosphere for employees and visitors.
