As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Verifier in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic retail location, helping to create a welcoming environment for shoppers, team members, and guests. In this unarmed role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor foot traffic, access points, and/or merchandise-sensitive areas for unusual activity, and report issues according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
Support closing, opening, and/or after-hours routines as assigned, including checking doors, gates, and other access control points throughout the location.
