As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Specialist in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors and/or local contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials where required, and document security-related incidents, visitor activity, and/or daily observations in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities and follow post orders for a dynamic technology location where working environments and conditions may vary by site.
