About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Verification and Credential Review in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist with loss-prevention awareness. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while communicating with site management and Allied Universal leadership.
