Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism while reflecting a caring culture, teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, perimeter, and designated restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and communicate with site personnel and visitors regarding entry procedures and location rules.
  • Support operations at a chemical and petrochemical location by observing for potential hazards, equipment issues, and/or policy violations, and escalating concerns through proper channels.
