About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Assistant in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Monitor entry and exit activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and support established visitor, delivery, and/or credential verification processes.
Assist with monitoring sensitive business areas and help to deter disruptions, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity within a financial services location.
