About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Analyst in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report any access concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support a professional environment within a financial institution location by observing daily operations, reporting security-related concerns, and assisting with directions and general assistance when needed.
