About The Position

As a Security Officer Service Focused Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support tenants and visitors with strong communication and customer service while working as part of an agile, reliable team that leads with integrity and innovation.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity, documenting incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
• Support daily operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or disturbances to the appropriate contacts.
