As a Security Officer Patrol Representative in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols for a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns and report security-related issues.
  • Monitor access points, observe site activity, and document routine and unusual events in accordance with post orders and client-facing expectations.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including following established instructions, assisting with directional guidance, and helping to coordinate with first responders and/or site representatives.
