About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting them through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor for shoplifting, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and/or policy violations, and communicate with store leadership and/or local responders as needed.
Assist with access control, opening and closing activities, and monitoring of high-traffic areas during busy business hours and special events.
