About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for patients, staff, and guests.
  • Assist with security-related reporting, incident follow-up, and/or requests for assistance while maintaining professionalism and customer service in a healthcare setting.
