About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Ambassador in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, public areas, and restricted locations, providing direction and information while following post orders and government location protocols.
• Support crowd management and public assistance during peak travel periods, service disruptions, and/or special events, while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
