As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong customer service and communication while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and documenting details according to post guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout shipping, receiving, warehouse, trailer, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe movement around the location, and support the screening of visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
