Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to post guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with wayfinding, answering general questions, and communicating with staff and/or first responders during security-related events.
