As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help support site rules, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report maintenance, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with crowd and customer flow observation during busy periods, store opening and closing activities, and special events, while following post orders and Allied Universal standards.
