Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at a dynamic technology-focused location by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials or visitor information when required, and report suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
  • Support a professional presence by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with directions, questions, and/or security-related concerns while maintaining awareness of the surrounding location.
