About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Representative in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout assigned areas. Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
• Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining a visible presence, and following Allied Universal standards and client site expectations.
