Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will patrol assigned areas, monitor activity, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, following site policies for credentials, visitor logs, and/or vehicle inspections.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity by documenting observations, communicating with site contacts, and completing required reports related to security-related incidents and/or policy violations.
