About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Badge Patrol in Oviedo, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required by location procedures, and report concerns involving restricted areas, after-hours access, and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations in required logs or reports, and support healthcare location protocols related to privacy, professionalism, and respectful interactions.
