As a Security Officer Driver Badge Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol a busy retail location, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, support access and loss prevention activities, and embody Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in a people-first culture.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help support orderly operations, assist with direction and information, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or security-related concerns.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and following post orders for incident response and escalation.
