Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and common areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and/or other irregular conditions to the appropriate contacts.
Support daily operations by preparing incident reports, maintaining visible presence throughout the property, and following post orders and client site protocols during routine and emergency situations.
