About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Coordinator in Lawnside, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies, and assist with the orderly flow of people, vehicles, and deliveries on the property.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with site personnel, and following post orders related to patrol activity, incident response, and security-related reporting.
