Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a residential community. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to residents, guests, and staff. Requirements

  • At least six months of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a residential community.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking facilities, amenity spaces, and the surrounding property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, document observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support a welcoming residential environment by maintaining a professional presence and following established post orders and reporting protocols.
