As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.
