As an Allied Universal Officer, you will monitor and patrol manufacturing, industrial, and utility locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and other security-related concerns, document activities, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at industrial and utility locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, equipment yards, utility infrastructure, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders while reporting maintenance, hazard, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
