As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while documenting security-related activity. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain daily activity logs, and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
