Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
