Requirements

Have at least two years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe persons entering and leaving the property, reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
