As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and situations, communicate professionally with travelers and staff, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport partners by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, public spaces, perimeter locations, parking facilities, roadways, and other assigned areas; report unusual conditions and potential hazards.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry where required, and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders.
Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.
