Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access concerns, disturbances, and requests for assistance.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unauthorized access or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
