Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points, amenity areas, and community rules while assisting with visitor interactions, resident concerns, and other property-related security-related needs.
  • Support a visible presence throughout the location to help deter unauthorized activity, report maintenance or hazard concerns, and follow post orders and Allied Universal protocols.
