Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access-control procedures, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.
