Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and incidents to appropriate store leadership and/or emergency personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
