As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol public transportation-related parking locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine rounds, respond to security-related concerns, assist visitors with professionalism, and communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, patrons, employees, and/or contractors at a public parking transportation location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking facilities, pedestrian areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor parking areas for unusual conditions, access issues, vehicle-related incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, reporting observations according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when required.
  • Prepare accurate activity, incident, and/or patrol reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
