As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service. You will communicate observations, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, property damage, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
