As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support security-related operations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as requested, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
