As a Screener at a healthcare location, you will welcome patients, visitors, and staff, conduct entry screenings, monitor access points, and communicate concerns while providing exceptional customer service. This driving post may also involve operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures and healthcare location policies.
  • Screen individuals entering the location using approved procedures and equipment, and verify access credentials when required.
  • Monitor entrances and screening areas for prohibited items, access concerns, and unusual activity, and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate screening and incident records and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal personnel and designated healthcare staff.
